Innovation Corner

Professor Venture Fair

9:00 am - 10:00 am
Grand Ballroom Lounge, Stamp Student Union

Moderator:  Pasquale Ferrari       Judges: Matt Cohen, Herbert Heyneker, Ken Malone and Rana Quraishi

The first Professor Venture Fair was held at Bioscience Day 2007 and has since become a popular annual event.  The Professor Venture Fair offers university inventors the opportunity to pitch their new bioscience technologies to a team of advisors, investors and entrepreneurs from the region. Presenters are judged based on potential commercial viability and the business opportunity presented. The event provides an excellent forum for inventors to showcase their bioscience technologies in a semi-formal setting while receiving feedback on their commercialization plan. Come see faculty and student inventors pitch their ideas to experts.
